Basement leak watch
A flow sensor on the main line. Water moving at 3 AM when nobody is up means a leak, and Fizz calls you while it is still a puddle.
ASK “Was there any water flow overnight?”
ALERT Call me if flow is above 0.5 L/min

A walkthrough of the live app: pick sensors, watch readings stream in, ask Fizz what it sees, and get called when a reading crosses the line.
How it connects
A Raspberry Pi pairs with one command and a short code you approve on the device. Agents like Hermes connect over MCP and ask Fizz, never your devices directly.
On a Pi, run curl -fsSL https://fizzlayer.com/install.sh | sh, then fizz pair, and approve the request there. ESP32s post to the same webhook with a sensor key.
Every request is checked against that device's key. Rotate or revoke one device without touching the rest.
Hermes, Claude Code, and other MCP clients connect with their own revocable token. They read sensors and pair devices, and never see device keys.
Hermes Agent is an open-source project by Nous Research. Muse is a product of Meta. Fizz is not affiliated with either. Agents connect through Fizz's MCP server with a bearer token; Muse support depends on the connector options Meta offers.
Use cases
Give Fizz a sensor and a limit. Ask about it in plain English, and get a phone call when something goes wrong.
A flow sensor on the main line. Water moving at 3 AM when nobody is up means a leak, and Fizz calls you while it is still a puddle.
ASK “Was there any water flow overnight?”
ALERT Call me if flow is above 0.5 L/min
A second set of eyes beside your detector, near the furnace or workbench. Fizz keeps the history and calls when concentration climbs.
ASK “Did the garage air spike today?”
ALERT Call me if gas is above 1,000 ppm
A probe by the rack. When the AC quits on a Saturday, Fizz calls before your hardware starts to throttle.
ASK “What's the closet temperature right now?”
ALERT Call me if it is above 30 °C
Know how your plants are doing before you drive over. Fizz watches the air where they live.
ASK “Is the greenhouse too dry?”
ALERT Call me if humidity drops below 40%
A sound level sensor in the room. Fizz notices when it gets loud while you are out.
ASK “Has it been quiet in the nursery?”
ALERT Call me if sound is above 70 dB
Pair any phone with a one-time link to share motion, location, and voice notes, each behind its own permission.
ASK “What did my phone say?”
CONTROL Revoke the phone from either device
Also: pressure, radio signal strength, and custom metrics from any device that can send an HTTPS request.
Enterprise
Warehouses, fleets, and factory floors already run on sensors. Fizz gives them one place to ask questions, and calls the right person when a reading crosses the line.
Probes in every cold room, humidity on the racks, and leak sensors at the dock. Fizz watches every zone and calls the shift lead before stock spoils.
ASK “Which cold room is warmest right now?”
ALERT Call the shift lead if a cold room is above 5 °C
A driver's phone shares location and motion, and a reefer probe posts temperatures over HTTPS. Each device has its own key, so one truck can be cut off without touching the rest.
ASK “Is truck 12's reefer still under 4 °C?”
ALERT Call dispatch if a reefer is above 4 °C
Boiler pressure, compressor noise, and air quality on the line. Check the floor from anywhere, and get a call when a machine drifts out of range.
ASK “What's boiler 2 pressure right now?”
ALERT Call maintenance if pressure is above 900 kPa
